Geri Wong, Colton resident, expressed concern for a possible safety issue as a result of <br />increased truck traffic as this project would be located near an elementary school and also <br />stated there was a need for an additional street. <br />Jean Ferrante, Colton resident, inquired as to why no City Attorney was available as <br />Attorney Sabo only advises the Redevelopment Agency and that this project is `another <br />deal' and explained how she understood the project to be. <br />As directed by Chairperson Sanders, City Treasurer Williams responded to how the bond <br />issue would be handled and how the monies would be repaid. <br />Motion by Councilmember/Member Bennett and seconded by Councilmember/Member <br />Grimsby to approve staff's recommendation of Resolution No. 723 and Resolution No. <br />R-79-98. Motion carried with Councilmember/Member Cook absent. <br />Chairperson Sanders directed Director Steel to review the safety issue on the increased <br />truck traffic. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Mayor Gaytan and Chairperson Sanders adjourned the meeting at 7:09 p.m. <br />`J <br />CAROLINA P.
