PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the Council: Chris Agrella, Chris Juday, Deanna <br />Perales, Fred Cordova and Jeffery McConnell. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />D 3/27/03 Railroad Town Hall Meeting <br />BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS: <br />Appointments — Pursuant to MC§ Section 2.30.020 and MC§ Section 2.30.030 — <br />Manner of Appointment. <br />None <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />City Manager Daryl Parrish presented Consent Calendar Item No.(s) 4 through 15 with <br />Item No. 7 being pulled and action taken following Closed Session and Item No.(s) 9, 12 <br />and 15 being pulled for a separate vote. <br />Item 11 - CM DeLaRosa asked if the funds could be used to fund another Code <br />Enforcement Position. <br />Lt. Frank Coe responded that the funds could only be used for equipment for employees <br />to utilize. <br />Motion/second by CM DeLaRosa/Ramos to approve the Consent Calendar Item(s) 4 <br />through Item 15, with Item(s) 7, 9, 12, and 15 pulled for separate vote. Unanimous vote. <br />(9) Agreement/Ralph E. Hitchcock & Associates — Approve Additional Funding to the <br />Professional Services Agreement with Ralph E. Hitchcock & Associates in <br />the Amount of $132,000. <br />CM Zamora inquired as to the original amount of the contract and Director Clarke <br />provided and approximate amount. <br />CM Hernandez asked if there is staff that would be able to provide the same duties as <br />the consultant. <br />Utility Director Tom Clarke responded that the contract will not go beyond December 31, <br />2003 and assured Council that in-house staff could not provide service. <br />Motion/second by CM Zamora/Ramos to approve Professional Services Agreement. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />(12) Compensation Study Salary Adjustments — Approve and Adopt a Proposed <br />Resolution Modifying the Salary Table for the Positions of Environmental <br />f^ Conveyance Technician (I, II and In -Training); Wastewater Equipment Operator <br />(l, II and In -Training); Water Equipment Operator II; and Wastewater Utilities <br />Manager, RESOLUTION NO.
