This was the time and place fixed to consider approval of a mitigated negative <br />declaration and approval of an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Colton <br />amending portions of the Agua Mansa industrial corridor specific plan to add additional <br />permitted and conditionally permitted uses and to redesignate property located at 2300 <br />S. Riverside Avenue (Assessor Parcel No. 0260-091-777-0000) from agricultural/open <br />space/equestrian to medium industrial: File Index Number DAP -000-168. <br />Mayor Bennett declared the Public Hearing "Open". <br />City Clerk Barrera said the Affidavit of Publication on file in the City Clerk's Office and <br />stated that no protests or objections were received. <br />Community Development Director Zamora presented a brief overview and requested <br />approval of staff's recommendation to waive full reading and pass first reading of <br />Ordinance No. 0-25-03. <br />Discussion followed with CM Mitchell thanking staff for the report, requesting that in the <br />future, the department provide a better map in order to have a better idea of where <br />property is actually located. <br />Motion/second by CM Hernandez/Ramos to terminate public hearing.
