CITY OF COLTON <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY MEETING <br />MINUTES <br />DECEMBER 7, 2004 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above -given date at 6:05 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, with <br />Mayor Bennett presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Bennett led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Pastor Dane Aaker led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Members Present: <br />Mayor Deirdre H. Bennett <br />Sarah S. Zamora <br />John D. Mitchell <br />Helen A. Ramos <br />Kelly J. Chastain <br />Richard De La Rosa <br />Ramon Hernandez <br />CITY CLERK'S ITEM: <br />Staff Present: <br />Daryl Parrish, City Manager <br />Dean Derleth, City Attorney <br />Carolina P. Barrera, CMC City Clerk <br />Canvas of Election: General Municipal Election held on November 2, 2004 <br />A Resolution of the City Council Reciting the Fact of the General Municipal Election held on November 2, <br />2004, declaring the Result and such other matters as provided by Law, RESOLUTION NO. R-136-04. <br />Motion/second by CM Hernandez/De La Rosa to approve and adopt Resolution No. R-136.-04. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />COMMENTS FROM OUTGOING CITY OFFICIALS <br />CM Zamora listed some of her accomplishments and expressed words of affection and appreciation to <br />her spouse, children, parents, friends, city employees, and members of the dais. Individual remarks were <br />made by the Council and Mayor. <br />PRESENTATION OF OUTGOING CITY OFFICIALS <br />Presentation Francis Vasquez, Field Representative for Senator Nell Soto presented CM <br />Zamora with a certificate of recognition. <br />Recognition Police Chief Rulon presented CM Zamora with a plaque for her volunteer service <br />to the PAL program. <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br />07 REG SPEC CC/RDA/CUA MEETING- I - <br />
