Unanimous vote <br />STAFF REPORTS: <br />With no objection from Council, Mayor Bennett moved Item 17 forward. <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Colton and Overland. Pacific & Cutler, Inc. - Approve the Professional Services Agreement <br />between the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton and Overland, Pacific & Cutler, Inc. <br />to Prepare a Relocation Plan, to Provide Relocation Services and to Prepare a Replacement <br />Housing Plan for the Colton Palms Senior Housing Project; and Approve and Adopt Agency <br />Resolution No. 825, to Authorize Spending Required Funds to Exceed $284,305 and Making <br />the Necessary Budget Adjustment, RDA RESOLUTION NO. 825. <br />Redevelopment Agency Manager Cassel presented for Council consideration and approval of <br />staff's recommendation a PowerPoint presentation was used to provide detailed background <br />and discussion points. Redevelopment Agency Manager Cassel introduced Kathy Wooley from <br />Overland, Pacific & Cutler, Inc., who was available for any question along with Cooperative <br />Management representatives. <br />Discussion from Council continued with questions to Ms. Wooley regarding other senior <br />projects, other businesses in or out of state, and detailed assistance to the seniors. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the Council: <br />Fred Cordova, expressed his concern that he wanted to correct one thing that the RDA keeps <br />insisting on because it's not true, the contractor that built the project is not the contractor that <br />won the design. <br />Jess Vasquez, provided the Council with a prepared statement which suggested that the <br />building should be salvaged and sold as a fixer property at a profit. <br />Ron Cate, explained that his mother Ruth Cate was a resident, and concurred with Mr. Vasquez <br />that the building should be salvaged. <br />William Richards, expressed his concerns on the mismanagement of the building, and <br />concurred with the suggestion to salvage the building. <br />Lisa Williams, resident of the Colton Palms, expressed her concerns on potentially moving and <br />requested that Council provide a resolution. <br />Linda Cate, explained that her mother in law Ruth Cate was a resident, and BB&K had provided <br />copies of report on the mold damage, which she translated to be safe as it didn't pose any <br />significant health risk. <br />'rnui �,,Ia:itii3eZiZe�:7.]atfl�L�T�a�1�.B�e <br />
