(15) Agreement/Colco Properties, Inc. — Approved and authorized the City Manager to <br />approve an agreement with the Colco Properties, Inc. for the early Commencement of <br />Grading in Tract No. 16375. <br />(16) Award of Contract/International Pavement Solutions, Inc. — Approved and authorize the <br />award of Construction Contract for Mt. Vernon Ave. - Agua Mansa Road Street <br />Improvement Project to International Pavement Solutions, Inc. as the Lowest <br />Responsive and Responsible Bidder in the Amount of $290,884.72. <br />(17) Agreement Amendment/Republic Electric - Approved amendment to the agreement <br />between the City and Republic Electric to Continue Services for an Additional Two Year <br />Period, at the Annual Amount of $25,800; Approve Agreement between the City and <br />Republic Electric Extraordinary Traffic Signal Maintenance Services, Not -to -Exceed <br />$36,000. <br />(18) FEMA Funding — Approved and adopted a Resolution Accepting $19,568 from the State <br />in Reimbursement of Street Repairs During Rains Experienced in Fiscal Year <br />2004/2005, RESOLUTION NO. R-100-05. <br />(19) CUA/Award of Bid/Fairview Ford — Approved the award of Bid to Fairview Ford for <br />Purchase of F450 Flat Bed Service Truck in an amount of $29,506.26. <br />STAFF REPORTS: <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />2005/2006 Agency Budget <br />Consideration and Approval of Agency Resolution No. 845 Adopting the Fiscal Year 2005/2006 <br />Agency Budget, RDA RESOLUTION NO. 845. <br />Rod Yahnke, RDA Project Manager 11 presented for Council consideration and requested <br />approval of staffs recommendation to approve and adopt resolution adopting the 2005/2006 <br />Agency budget. He further provided a PowerPoint presentation for clarification. CM Parrish <br />provided updates to the existing project areas and where they are at in the life cycle that <br />includes forming a new project area, amending the project areas where they have expired, <br />updating the sign ordinance, the scheduled CALED workshop set for August 23, 2005 with the <br />purpose to engrain a philosophy that we are all economic developers; improvements on Valley <br />Blvd that would encompass the recent developments such as the Dominguez Plaza project; and <br />the need to update the land use element. <br />CM Mitchell commented on the upcoming CALED workshop and recent attendance to such a <br />workshop in Sacramento and shared the information gained. <br />CM Parrish added by commenting on the economic development of the city as it is everyone's <br />responsibility that includes the residents who are the stakeholders. <br />Motion/second by CM Chastain/Ramos to approve and adopt RDA Resolution No. 845.
