Barrera, CIVIC City Clerk <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF <br />FEBRUARY 1, 2005. <br />Mayor Bennett asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CIVIC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. . <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />> Presentation Candace Cassel, RDA Manager, invited Judy Clarke, RDA Project <br />Manager 11, who introduced the City of Colton business spotlight recipient <br />Lozano's Case Works, Inc. Mayor Bennett presented a certificate of <br />appreciation to Mr. Lozano, Sr., for their contributions, to the city's <br />Business Spotlight <br />> Presentation Academic Attitude Attendance (AAA) — Colton High School AAA Program <br />Representatives introduced themselves and recognized administrative <br />team that work with the program — gave a power point presentation that <br />describes the incentive program; Assistant Principal Mr. Brunner, made <br />additional comments about the incentive program. <br />Presentation PAL Graduation Chief Rulon recognized the first team project class and <br />certificate of completion; Suzie Rodriguez announced those in attendance <br />— several students made a testimony of their experience -in attending the <br />class; Sofia Martinez, Chief Rulon recognized the staff that made this <br />program successful. <br />> Presentation Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Chief Rulon recognized the local <br />narcotics team developed- with the assistance of the federal DEA and <br />acknowledged and recognized Ken Renke accepted on behalf and who <br />represented all those agents who assisted the City of Colton. <br />Recognition CM Chastain read and presented recognition to Master Christian Gahr <br />(Wilson Elementary School) for raising $300.00 in funds for the library. <br />RECESS: <br />2005 FEBRUARY 01 REG CC/RDA/CUA MEETING -3- <br />
