At 6:40 p.m. Mayor Bennett announced a recess and at 6:52 p.m. the meeting was reconvened with all members present heretofore. PUBLIC COMMENT: The following citizens addressed the City Council: Gil Vasquez MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: COMMENTS, INTER -GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY REPORTS, INFORMATION SESSION' AND ACTION ITEMS: • Acknowledged out going Mayor Pro 0 Mobile Recreation Tempore Hernandez and newly appointed Mayor Pro Tempore * Wear Red Day in honor of Ramos Cardiovascular Disease • State of the City • City Council Workshop BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS: > Appointments —Pursuant to MC§ Section Z30.030— Manner of Appointment District 2 — CM De La Rosa presented for ratification the appointments of Anthony Garcia to the Code Enforcement Housing Advisory & Appeals Board. Motion/second by CM Ramos/Hernandez to ratify the appointment of Anthony Garcia. No opposition to the motion. District 6 — CM Suchil presented for ratification the appointment of Bob Seaman to the Code Enforcement Housing Advisory & Appeals Board. Motion/second by CM Hernandez/Ramos to ratify the appointment of Bob Seaman. No opposition to the motion. City Attorney Derleth explained the need to pull, discuss and vote separately on Item 7 of the Consent Calendar as an Ordinance cannot be approved as a Consent Calendar item and must be announced. ORDINANCE: Gas Sale Aqreement Approve and adopt a Resolution and waive full reading of pass first reading of Ordinance for the Gas Sales Agreement in connection with the SCPPA Gas Acquisition Project, and elect to participate in the project under the Development Agreement, RESOLUTION NO. R-07-05 AND ORDINANCE NO. 0-02-05. Motion/second by CM Ramos/Hernandez to waive full reading of pass first reading of Ordinance for the Gas Sales Agreement in connection with the SCPPA Gas Acquisition Project, and elect to participate in the project under the Development Agreement.
