Mayor Bennett asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />Presentation Candace Cassel, RDA Manager, invited Nathan Lunt, RDA Administrative <br />Analyst, who introduced the City of Colton business spotlight recipient <br />Safeway Electric Company, Mayor Bennett presented a certificate of <br />appreciation to Dan Scherneck,Owner and President, Kimberly Cryan, <br />Marketing representative for Safeway Electric for their contributions to the <br />city's Business Spotlight <br />Presentation Ruth Martinez, Library Manager, introduced Mrs. Pauline Lopez, <br />Volunteer who will be working at the Library as a result of funds received <br />through the Library Americorps Program Participant Grant. <br />Proclamation Mayor Bennett read and presented a proclamation on the "Read Across <br />America" Program to Ruth Martinez, Library Manager. <br />Recognition CM De La Rosa read and presented Certificates of Recognition to the <br />Colton All Stars, State Champ team members, coaches and team moms. <br />Presentation Mayor Bennett acknowledged Police Chief Rulon who received the Keep <br />California Beautiful Outstanding Environmental Achievement Award <br />Statewide presented to PAL Youth, Explorers for their contributions to the <br />Slover Avenue cleanup. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Implementation Plan <br />(1) TIME AND PLACE FIXED TO CONSIDER CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING FROM <br />FEBRUARY 15, 2005 AND CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AGENCY RESOLUTION 839 <br />WHICH ADOPTS THE 2005-2009 REDEVELOPMENT IMPLEMENTATION PLAN <br />Mayor Announces Continuation of the Public Hearing. <br />Matter to be continued to March 15, 2005. <br />CDBG Promects for FY 2005-06 <br />Time and place fixed to consider prioritization and funding of Community Development Block <br />Grant (CDBG) projects for fiscal year 2005-06. <br />The Mayor declares the Public Hearing "Open" <br />City Clerk Barrera said the Affidavit of Publication calling the Public Hearing was on file in the <br />City Clerk's Office and stated that no protests or objections were received. <br />2005 MARCH 01 REG CCIRDA/CUA MEETING -3- <br />
