Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. CEREMONIAL MATTERS: Presentations, Awards, Proclamations • Recognition Susan Rodriguez, Family Services Supervisor, introduced Sister Petia of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Mayor Chastain who recognized . churchmembers for their time as volunteers, cooking, cleaning, etc., at the Community Centers. • Recognition Deb Farrar, Recreation Services Supervisor, Mayor Chastain and Sheila Fauch, representative from Assemblywoman Wilmer . Amina Carter's Office, who recognized and presented certificates to High School Participants for Student Government Day held February 13, 2007. • Recognition Fire Chief Tom Hendrix, read and presented plaques to Albert Castaneda, city staff member and James Urrea, San Bernardino County Reserve Deputy Officer and resident, for providing emergency assistance on January 29, 2007 to City Employee Jeff Burke who suffered a heart attack at the Gonzales Community Center. Police Chief Ken Rulon presented a medal of honor to Mr. James Urrea, from the law enforcement for his heroic efforts. • Presentation Dilu de Alwis, Finance Director presented Jennifer Sims, Finance Manager, who gave an overview of the 2006 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award and introduced Mr. Rix Skonberg, CPM, Purchasing Manager at the City of Moreno Valley Second Vice President of CAPPO who presented the award to Jennifer Sims for the City of Colton.
