Presentation and Discussion Surrounding the County Regional Park Project. City Manager Parrish introduced this item as it was requested by CM Suchil for information surrounding this project. Assistant City Manager Nuaimi and Parks and Recretion Director Smith provided a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the following: Regional Park Overview Warm Creek Site Summary of Activity by date: 1/17/07 through 5/25/07 Discussion continued with question from members of the Council regarding other potential areas for development. David Myers, San Bernardino County Representative/Coordinator for the Regional Park, gave input as to the San Bernardino County participation regarding the project. City Manager Parrish concluded by explaining that the City has had a lot of time of options and possibilities and staff continues to work in finding the best sight for the city. BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS: ➢ Appointments — Pursuant to MC§ Section 2.30.030 — Manner of Appointment. District 6 — Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil presented for ratification the appointment of William Hines to the Code Enforcement Board. Motion/second by CM Mitchell/Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil to ratify the appointment of William Hines. No opposition to the motion. AGENDA REVIEW: City Manager. City Manager Parrish presented Consent Calendar Items No. (s) 7 thru 29 for approval. Motion/second by CM Mitchell/Suchil to approve Consent Calendar Items 7 thru 29. Motion carried with CM De La Rosa recusing himself from discussion and voting on Item No. 20 due to a possible conflict as he owns property within 500 yards of the project. CONSENT CALENDAR (7) Minutes — Approved Minutes of the City Council Special Meeting held on May 29, 2007, on file in the Office of the City Clerk. (8) Warrants — Approved. Payroll Disbursement Listing for 5/18/07, Totaling, $835,733.81, on file in the Finance Department.
