Government Code of the State of California, and mentioned hereinbefore and any and all other laws in any way connected with the said annexation procedure have been complied with, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton desires to approve at this (time the annexation of the aforesaid territory, NOW,t THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS Section I: That the City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that all of the recitals contained in this Ordinance are true and correct. Section II: The territory herein referred to as being annexed to the � Cit of Colton is . y particularly described as follows, to -wit. .. All of that portion of the west one-half of Section 19, Township 1 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian.. County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Government Lot 2 of said Section 19, said corner being in the corporate boundaries of the City of Colton; thence southerly along the West Line of Govern- ment Lot 2 of said Section 19 and along the East line of Meridian Avenue, 30 feet wide, to the Southwest corner of Government Lot 2 of said Section 19; thence continuing Southerly along the West Lime of Government Lot 3 of said Section 19 and the center line of Meridian Avenue, 60 feet wide, to the North right-of-way line of State Highway Route No. 26; thence Easterly along the North right of way line of said State Highway Route No. 26 to an intersection with the east line of Government Lot 3 of said Section 19; thence Northerly along the East line of Government Lot 3 of said Section 19 and along the East Line of Government Lot 2 of said Section 19 to the Northeast corner of Government Lot 2 of said Section 19, said corner being in the corporate boundaries of the City of Colton; thence Westerly along the North Line of Government Lot 2 of said Section 19 and along the corporate boundaries of the City of Colton to the Northwest corner of Government Lot 2 of said Section 19 and to the point of beginning. Section III: The above described property shall be subject to taxation equally, if legally possible, with the property within such municipal corporation -3=
