SECTION 1.2 Assistants. i 2 Whenever the term "assistants" is used in this code, it shall be con - 3 strued to mean any additional inspector assisting the Building Inspection 4 Director. 5 SECTION 1.3 Department Having jurisdiction.. 6 7 Deleted. $ SECTION 1 .4 Change Sub section (10), to read: Maintain an official 9 register of all persons, firms, or corporations lawfully entitled to carry on or 10 engage in the business of plumbing. ll SECTION 1.7 Violations and penalties. 12 Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this 13 code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall 144 15I be punishable by a fine of not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00): or by 16 imprisonment in the County jail for not to exceed three (3 months, or by both I'7 such fine and imprisonment. Each separate day or portion thereof during which 3.8 any violation of this code occurs or continues shall be deemed to constitute a 19 separate offense, and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable as herein pro - 20 vided . 21 The issuance or granting of a permit orapproval of plans and specifications 22 23 shall not be deemed or construed to be a permit for, or an approval of any viola - 24 tion of any of the provisions of this code. No permit presuming.; to give authority 25 to violate or cancel the provisions of this code shall be valid, except insofar 26 as the work or use which it authorizes is lawful. 27 The issuance or granting of a permit or approval of plans shall not prevent 28 the Administrative Authority from thereafter requiring the correction of errors in 29. -4.4 r n r 4-
