That the "Uniform Sign Code, 1964 Edition published and <br />copyrighted by International Conference of Building Officials", three copies <br />of which in book form are now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the <br />City of Colton for public use and certified by the certificate of the City Clerk <br />of the City of Colton attached thereto, reading as follows: <br />"I, ELIZABETH DAVIS.. City Clerk of the City of Colton do <br />hereby certify that the annexed Uniform Sign Code, 1964 <br />Edition is the Sign Code referred to in Ordinance No.1258 <br />of the City of Colton" <br />be and the same is hereby adopted as the Sign Code of the City of Colton, <br />fcr regulating the erection, construction, location, electrification, mainten- <br />ance, quality of materials, control of design, conversion, use, height, <br />alteration, and/or other matters contained in said code of all signs, adver- <br />tising or display structures of any type whatsoever and each of the provisions <br />in. reference to issuance of permits, regulation, penalty, condition and term <br />of said Sign Code hereinbefore referred to and adopted and made a part hereof <br />as if fully set forth herein, except for an amendment added thereto, to -wit: <br />Section 2. That Section S-102, paragraph 2, the"Uniform Sign Code, <br />1964 Edition"shall be amended to read as follows: <br />No sign shall be erected or placed in such a manner as to <br />confuse or obstruct the view or interpretation of any official traffic sign, <br />signal, or device, nor shall any such sign be erected or placed so as to <br />
