1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />81 <br />a <br />101 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />'15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />delft <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1290 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON PROHIBITING <br />PARADES AND CERTAIN SOUND VEHICLES WITHOUT FIRST <br />HAVING OBTAINED A PERMIT AS HEREINAFTER PROVIDED. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS <br />SECTION ONE: It shall be unlawful for any person to hold <br />Ior conduct or to participate in any parade, procession or caravan <br />(or to operate any sound vehicle upon any public street or highway <br />lin the City of Colton without first having obtained a permit or <br />license so to do as hereinafter provided. <br />SECTION TWO: DEFINITIONS. <br />A. The word "person" as used herein shall include the <br />singular and plural and shall also mean and include any person, firm <br />corporation, association, club, partnership, society or any other <br />form of association or organization. <br />B. SOUND VEHICLE. Any vehicle which carries or is <br />1equipped with any instrument or device for the production or re- <br />production of music, spoken words or other sounds, or any loud <br />21 <br />22 speaker or any other sound amplifying device designed to enlarge <br />2.3 the volume of sound produced by any instrument or by the human voice <br />24 which instrument or device is used, or intended to be used for the <br />25 purpose of advertising or calling attention to any article, thing <br />26 or event, or for the purpose of addressing the public or attracting <br />27 <br />the attention of the public, along or upon the public streets or <br />28 <br />(ways along which such vehicle travels. <br />29 1 <br />
