1 A. Vehicles used only in a parade conducted pursuant to a <br />2 permit issued by the City Council. <br />3 B. A vehicle equipped with a siren or horn designed and <br />4 <br />used for the purpose of warning traffic because of such equipment or <br />5 <br />use, nor any vehicle operated by any governmental agency within the <br />6 <br />7 course of its public functions. <br />8 C. Persons who are licensed by the City of Colton to sell <br />9 goods, wares and merchandise from vehicles and whose vehicles are <br />10 equipped with sound apparatus emitting music only, providing the <br />11 sound of said music does not exceed 90 decibels measured at a dis- <br />12 <br />tance.of ten (10) feet from the speaker of said apparatus. <br />13 <br />SECTION FOUR: SOUND VEHICLES - WHERE PROHIBITED. <br />14 <br />'15 No person shall drive, operate, propel or park any sound <br />16 vehicle with the sound-making device, sound-amplifying device, or <br />17 loud speaker thereof in use or operation: <br />18 1. Within 300 feet of any hospital or school, at any time; <br />19 2. Upon any public street or way between the hours of <br />20 <br />6:30 P.M. and 9:00 A.M. of the following day; <br />21 <br />3. Upon any public street or way on any Sunday; <br />22 <br />23 4. Upon 8th, 7th, 9th, and 10th Streets between Itill and <br />24 "G" Streets and upon "I", "G", and "H" Streets between 6thranal 10th <br />25 Streets. <br />26 SECTION FIVE: To secure such written permit as required <br />27 by Section One, the person or organization sponsorling such parade, <br />28 <br />procession, or caravan or seeking to operate a sound vehicle shall <br />29 <br />
