2 <br />4 <br />;i <br />rg j� <br />f i <br />8'. <br />i <br />10 <br />11 <br />i <br />13 <br />14 <br />i <br />6 <br />17 <br />18 j <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />roll, nor by public owners of one-half of the value of the <br />publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as determined by <br />said legislative body; and <br />WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City <br />of Colton, and is uninhabited territory in the County of San <br />Bernardino; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of <br />Colton does hereby approve the annexation of the territory <br />hereinafter described to the City of Colton and does hereby <br />further ordain that the said territory be and is hereby annexed <br />to the City of Colton. <br />That said territory, the annexation of which to the <br />City of Colton is herein approved, is all that territory situate <br />in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, more <br />particularly described as follows: <br />A portion of Lot 39, Jurupa Rancho recorded <br />in Book 1 of Maps, Page 47, records of San <br />Bernardino County; a portion of Lots 7, 8, <br />and 9 of East Riverside Land Company record- <br />ed in Book 6 of Maps, Page 44, records of <br />San Bernardino County; a portion of Lot 12 <br />of Rosedale Tract recorded in Book 12 of <br />Maps, Page 41, records of San Bernardino <br />County; and a portion of Government Lots 1 <br />and 2 of Fractional Sec. 6, Township 2 <br />South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Base <br />Meridian, described as follows: <br />Beginning at an intersection of the center <br />line of La Loma Avenue, with the centerline <br />of La Cadena Drive (Colton Avenue); <br />Thence Northerly along the center line of <br />La Cadena Drive, to an intersection with <br />the Westerly prolongation of the South line <br />of Lot 8 of Tract No. 1900 as per map re- <br />corded in Book 27 of Maps, Page 35 records <br />of said County; <br />Thence Easterly along said Westerly prolon- <br />gation and South line, to an intersection <br />
