11 as follows: <br />2 No electrical work for which a permit is required shall <br />3 be commenced in any building or premises until a permit has first been <br />4 obtained. Failure to obtain a permit within 24 hours will result in a <br />5 penalty of double permit and double fees. <br />6 Sections 30.1, 30.2, 30.3, 30.4, 30.6, 30.7, 30.8 and <br />7 30.9, shall be amended to read as follows: <br />8 Fees to be collected from any person, firm, corporation or <br />9 political subdivision, to whom a permit for doing electrical work in <br />10 the City of Colton has been granted, shall be determined by Resolution <br />11 of the City Council. <br />12 Section 90.2 shall be amended to read as follows: <br />13 Locations. An approved service entrance switch or circuit <br />14 breaker shall be installed for each service meter installation on <br />15 the load side of the meter; service switch or circuit breaker shall <br />16 be located on the exterior of the building at the nearest safe and <br />17 readily accessible point to where the service conductors enter the <br />18 I building. <br />1 9 Exception: On buildings of a commercial or industrial <br />10 type that are normally open during an average business day, the <br />21 service switch, breaker, and/or meter may be installed within the <br />22,1 building if meeting the requirements of the Serving Utility. <br />231Section 170.3 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />24 I Every room shall have at least one switched general light - <br />25 family rooms, and dens may be <br />ing outlet.. .Living rooms, bedrooms, y <br />26 excepted provided at least one switched wall receptacle is installed, <br />2 7and prow <br />1 ided that any such rooms have a minimum of two circuits.
