Beckwith 638 feet, more or less, <br />to the northwest corner of said Beckwith property, <br />said corner being in the east line of the west 2.0 <br />acres of said Lot 5 as conveyed to the Riverside <br />Highland Water Company by Deed recorded April 3, <br />1903, in Book 330 of Deeds, Page 170, Records of <br />said County; thence northerly along the east line <br />of the west 2.0 acres of said Lot 5, 654.0 feet, <br />more or less, to a point 320.0 feet south of the <br />center line of Washington Street as measured <br />perpendicular to said Washington Street, said <br />point also being a point of intersection with the <br />existing Colton City Limits; thence easterly along <br />the Colton City Limits 1,038 feet, more or less, <br />to the point of beginning. <br />Section III: The above described property shall be sub- <br />ject to taxation equally, with the property within such Municipal <br />Corporation, to pay its proportion of the following bonded indebted- <br />ness of the City of Colton, which bonded indebtedness was outstand- <br />ing at the time of filing said petition or theretofore authorized <br />and is outstanding at the time of said Annexation. <br />Section IV: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage <br />of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published at least <br />once in the Colton Courier, a newspaper of general circulation, <br />published in said City of Colton and hereby designated for that <br />purpose. <br />1969. <br />ATTEST: <br />ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th of November <br />LIZABETH DAVIS <br />City Clerk <br />RED E.
