Beckwith 638 feet, more or less, to the northwest corner of said Beckwith property, said corner being in the east line of the west 2.0 acres of said Lot 5 as conveyed to the Riverside Highland Water Company by Deed recorded April 3, 1903, in Book 330 of Deeds, Page 170, Records of said County; thence northerly along the east line of the west 2.0 acres of said Lot 5, 654.0 feet, more or less, to a point 320.0 feet south of the center line of Washington Street as measured perpendicular to said Washington Street, said point also being a point of intersection with the existing Colton City Limits; thence easterly along the Colton City Limits 1,038 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. Section III: The above described property shall be sub- ject to taxation equally, with the property within such Municipal Corporation, to pay its proportion of the following bonded indebted- ness of the City of Colton, which bonded indebtedness was outstand- ing at the time of filing said petition or theretofore authorized and is outstanding at the time of said Annexation. Section IV: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published at least once in the Colton Courier, a newspaper of general circulation, published in said City of Colton and hereby designated for that purpose. 1969.
