(3) Front and Sideyard Storage: No portion of any front or <br />sideyard adjacent to a street shall be used for storage. <br />Storage shall mean and constitute the presence for a period <br />of forty-eight (48) or more hours in any seven (7) day period. <br />(4) Inoperative Vehicles: The dismantling, demolition, abandon- <br />ment, or storage of any inoperative vehicle is prohibited in any "R" Zone <br />District, provided repair will be permitted for one (1) vehicle on the required <br />parking space or area. <br />Required parking space or area shall mean that space or <br />area required by this Ordinance for Vehicle Parking. <br />(5) Commercial Vehicle Parking or Storage: No portion of any <br />lot in an "R" or "C-1" Zone District shall be used for the parking or storage <br />of any commercial vehicle. <br />Commercial vehicles, as used in this section, shall be <br />any vehicle over one (1) ton. <br />3. That a public hearing has been duly and legally held by <br />the City Council on the aforesaid recommendation of the Planning Commission. <br />SECTION TWO: Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in <br />force and effective thirty (3 0) days after final passage. <br />SECTION THREE: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of <br />this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Colton <br />Courier, a daily newspaper, hereby designated for the purpose. <br />- 2 - <br />
