SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE NO. 1520 An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Colton, amending the Colton Municipal Code, Title 16, to rescind Chapters 16.04 through 16.28 inclusive - and all ordinances or portions of ordinances pertaining thereto and adopting regulations from the Government Code under Division 2, Title 7 - Subdivision. ARTICLE I Authority and Citation Sec. 1: The City Council of Colton hereby assumes control of the design and improvement of land subdivisionsof property, as such power is vested in the City by the provisions of Division 2, Title 7 of the Government Code, and amendments thereto. Sec. 2: This ordinance is adopted to supplement and implement` Division 2, ARTICLE II Sec. 1: Sec. 2': Title 7 of the Government Code and may be cited as the "Subdivision Ordinance of Colton". Conformity to General Plan and Waiver A report as to the conformity to the General Plan, which is required pursuant to Section 65402 of the Government Code as a result,of a proposed division of land, may be included as a part of and at the same time as the action taken by the advisory agency on such'division of land. Such report is not required for a proposed subdivision which involves 1) the disposition of the remainder of a larger parcel which was acquired and used in part for street purposes; 2) acquisitions,, dispositions or abandonments for street widening; 3) alignment projects, provided that the advisory agency expressly finds that any such disposition for street purposes, acquisitions, dispositions, or abandonments for street widening or alignment projects is of a minor nature.
