That Section 6 of Ordinance No. 1122 of the City <br />of Colton is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />SECTION 6. COMPETITIVE SERVICE. The provisions of this ordi- <br />nance shall apply to all official positions and employments in the service of <br />the City except: <br />A. Elective Officers. <br />B. Members of appointive boards, commissions and committees. <br />C. Persons engaged under contract to supply expert, technical <br />or professional services for a definite period of time. <br />D. Volunteer personnel, such as firefighter reserves and police <br />reserves, who receive no regular compensation from the City. <br />E. The positions of Administrative Assistant, Administrative <br />Secretary, Assistant Director of Finance, Assistant Fire <br />Chief, Assistant to the City Manager, Auditor -Analyst, <br />Cemetery Assistant, City Librarian, City Manager, Collections <br />Supervisor, Directory of Building and Safety, Director of <br />Community Services, Director of Finance, Director of <br />Planning and Special Services, Electric Utility Director, <br />Finance Assistant, Fire Chief, Fire Operations Officer, <br />General Electrical Foreman, General Services Supervisor, <br />Parks and Cemetery Superintendent, Personnel Assistant, <br />Planning Ass-ociate,,Police Chief, Recreation Director, <br />
