CITY OF.COLTON, ADOPTING THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL, CODE, 1978 EDITION AND THE UNIFORM VTRI:NG CODE, 1975 EDITION, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REDUCING PERSONAL INJURY AND FIRE HAZARDFROM ELECTRICAL CAUSES,' PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS, AND REPEALING' ORDINANCE NO. 1479. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. This Ordinance shall be known as the "Uniform Wiring SECTION 2. Those certain rules and regulations which provide for electrical installations and which apply to all wiring and equipment installed, used, maintained, rented, leased, offered for sale or distributed for use, as set forth in those certain codes entitled UNIFORM WIRING CODE (1975 Edition) as promulgated by the Southern California Chapter of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors and NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE (1978 Edition) as promul- gated by the National Fire Protection Association are hereby adopted as rules an regulations and codes of the City of Colton. Three copies of each of the afore- mentioned codes are on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City and are identified by Certificates attached thereto, reading substantially as follows: "I', Helen A. Ramos, hereby 'certify that three (3) copies of the annexed.codes entitled UNIFORM WIRING CODE (1975 Edition)4and NATIONAL" ELECTRICAL CODE (1978 Edition) are true, cor5rect and complete copies of that certain code F referred to in Ordinance No.x1577 as amendedYl of the City of Colton, and by said Ordinance adopted by reference and made a part thereof as fully as though set forth at length.
