The sections and provisions of said UNIFORM WIRING <br />CODE are hereby amended to read as follows: <br />10.1, Change of Name. As used in this section and elsewhere in <br />said Code the term "Electrical Safety Engineer" shall be amended to read Building <br />Inspection` Director or his designated agent. <br />50.1 Standards for the Installation of Electrical Equipment. <br />Installations: All electrical installations, industrial, <br />commercial and residential, within the governmental jurisdiction covered by this <br />Code shall be in conformity with the provisions of this Code, all applicable <br />,f <br />State Laws, and the NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 1978 Edition. <br />50.4 Documents on File. Three copies of the 1978 Edition of the <br />NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE are on file at the Office of the City Clerk and are <br />hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this Code. <br />SECTION 5. The word "City" in the aforesaid sections and Code <br />shall be deemed to refer to and ,designate the City of Colton and any reference <br />to any act or any legislative enactment therein referred to shall be deemed to <br />designate and embrace the statutes of the State of California, and amendments <br />thereof, dealing with the subject matter thereby and therein referred to. <br />SECTION 6. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpora- <br />tion to install, use, maintain, alter, repair, rent, lease, offer for sale, or <br />distribute for use, any wiring and equipment used for electrical installation i`n <br />said City, or cause the same to be done, contrary to or in violation of any of <br />the provisions of these codes. <br />Any person, firm or corporation violating or permitting or causing <br />the violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance or of the Codes adopted <br />herein shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall <br />
