Each person, firm or corporation shall be deemed guilty of a <br />4 separate offense for each day during any portion of which any violation of any <br />5 -provisions of this ordinance or said Codes is committed, continued or permitted <br />6 by such person, firm or corporation and shall be punishable therefore, as pro- <br />7 vided by this ordinance. <br />a SECTION 7. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or <br />9 phrase of this ordinance of said. Code is for any reason held to be invalid or <br />10 unconstitutional by the decision of any court of.competent jurisdiction, such <br />11 decision shall not affect the validity of;'the remaining portions of said Ordi'nanc <br />-12 or Code. The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Colton hereby declare that <br />13 they would have passed said Ordinance and Code, and each section, subsection, <br />14 sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or <br />15 more other , sections, subsections, clauses or phrases be declared invalid or un- <br />16 constitutional. <br />17 SECTION 8. Ordinance No. 1479 is hereby repealed. <br />18 SECTION 9. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />19 and after its approval as required by Taw. <br />20 SECTION 10.
