<br />SECTION 6. That all ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in con-
<br />flict with the terms and provisions hereof, and particularly, but without limit -
<br />tion, Ordinances No. 1,533, 1449, 1403, 1354, 1213, 801 and 488 are hereby
<br />repealed.
<br />SECTION 7. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or ph
<br />of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, such decision
<br />shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The
<br />City Council of this City hereby declares that it would have adopted this Ordin
<br />ance and edch section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof,
<br />irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, clauses,
<br />phrases or portions thereof be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
<br />SECTION 8. The Uniform Building Code Standards which are refe
<br />to in various parts of this Ordinance shall be the Uniform Building Code
<br />Standards, 1979 Edition, and are hereby declared to be a part of this Ordinance
<br />SECTION 9. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpora
<br />tion to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, con-
<br />vert or demolish, equip, use, occupy, or maintain any building or structure in
<br />the City, or cause the same to be done, contrary to or in violation of any of
<br />the provisions of this Code.
<br />Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions
<br />of this Code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and each such person shall
<br />be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion
<br />during which any violation of any of the provisions of this Code is committed,
<br />continued, or permitted, and upon conviction of any such violation such person
<br />shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $300.00 or by imprisonment of
<br />not more than ninety (90) days, or by such fine and imprisonment.
<br />SECTION 10. This Ordinance shall be, and is hereby declared to
<br />be, in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days from the date of
