RIVERSIDE AVENUE (ASSESSOR PARCEL NO. 0260-091-77-0000) FROM AGRICULTURAL/OPEN SPACE/EQUESTRIAN TO MEDIUM INDUSTRIAL: FILE INDEX NUMBER DAP -000-168 WHEREAS, the City of Colton Planning Commission (the "Planning Commission") held a public hearing on October 28, 2003 concerning amendments to the Agua Mansa Industrial Corridor Specific Plan ("Specific Plan") to add additional permitted and conditionally permitted uses and redesignate property located at 2300 S. Riverside Avenue from "Agricultural/Open Space/ Equestrian" to "Medium Industrial" ("Application") after giving published notice of the proposed Application; and WHEREAS, at the conclusion of the hearing on October 28, 2003, the Planning Commission, by a vote of 6 to 0 recommended approval of the Application to the City Council of the City of Colton; and WHEREAS, on November 18, 2003, the City Council of the City of Colton ("City Council") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard, the Planning Commission's recommendation was considered and the Application was comprehensively reviewed; and WHEREAS, all other legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Ordinance have occurred. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Based on the entire record before the City Council, all written and oral evidence presented, and the findings made in this Ordinance, the City Council hereby approves the amendments to the Agua Mansa Industrial Corridor Specific Plan attached hereto as Exhibit "A."
