Project Area on January 18, <br />1965; Ordinance No. 1478 adopting Cooley Ranch Project on July 29, 1975 and amended <br />by Ordinance No. 1559 on January 16, 1979, by Ordinance No 74 on December 18, 1979 and <br />by Ordinance No. 0-8-86 on June 3, 1986; Ordinance No 2 adopting Santa Ana River <br />Project Area on December 29, 1982, Ordinance 0-10-86 a ng West Valley Project Area on <br />July 15, 1986 and amended by Ordinance No. 0-9-87 on 30,1987; Ordinance No. 0-8-87 <br />adopting Mt. Vernon Corridor Project Area on June 3 7; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Senate Bil , which became effective on January 1, <br />2002 ("SB 211 "), all redevelopment plans which in specific time limits on the establishment <br />of loans, advances and indebtedness may ended to eliminate said time limitations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Redevel nt Plans for the existing Redevelopment Project <br />Areas in the City of Colton as mention ay be amended to conform with SB 211; and <br />WHEREAS, in ado p an ordinance pursuant to Health and Safety Code <br />§33333.6(e)(2) to amend a Rede ment Plan in accordance with SB 211, neither the City <br />Council of the City of Colton nor t edevelopment Agency for the City of Colton is required to <br />comply with Division 24 of Part 1 of A comme Code §33450 <br />which sets forth requirements for amending redevelopment plans. <br />RVPUB\MXM\529585 <br />
