1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-01-05 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON ADDING CHAPTER 6.06 TO THE COLTON MUNICIPAL <br />CODE TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE CHAPTER 14 OF DIVISION <br />3 OF TITLE 3 AND SUBSECTION 16.0213B(b)(17) OF CHAPTER <br />2 OF DIVISION 6 OF TITLE 1, ALL OF THE SAN BERNARDINO <br />COUNTY CODE (SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY ORDINANCE <br />NO. 3930), RELATING TO INSPECTION GRADING OF FOOD <br />ESTABLISHMENTS <br />WHEREAS, California Government Code, §5022.2 and §5022.9 authorize local <br />agencies to enact ordinances that adopt any county code, ordinance or part thereof by <br />reference; and <br />WHEREAS, on June 22, 2004, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors <br />enacted Ordinance No. 3930 to adopt certain amendments to the San Bernardino County Code <br />to establish a program relating to the inspection grading of food establishments ("Program"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Program became operative in the unincorporated areas of the <br />County of San Bernardino on October 1, 2004; and <br />WHEREAS, in order for the County Department of Public Health to fully enforce <br />the Program in cities, it is necessary to adopt by reference the applicable provisions of <br />Ordinance No. 3930; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to promote the health, safety and welfare of residents and <br />visitors, the City Council of the City of Colton desires to have the Program become operative <br />within the corporate boundaries of the City of Colton. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 6.06 is hereby added to the Colton Municipal Code to read <br />as follows: <br />"Chapter 6.06 <br />INSPECTION GRADING OF FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS <br />Sections: <br />6.06.010 Adoption of County inspection grading of food establishments code. <br />6.06.020 Violation — Penalty. <br />Section 6.06.010 Adoption of County inspection grading of food establishments <br />code. <br />- 1 - <br />
