That the additional charges for each meter, as mentione' <br />herein, shall not be considered as an increase in rates for any <br />services rendered but shall solely be considered as a service <br />charge upon each of the aforesaid meters. <br />IV. That any person, firm or corporation failing or refusing <br />to pay the aforesaid service charge when clue, shall be notified <br />once by mail postpaid to addressed to their last known address, <br />advising them of the said delinquency, and if said delinquency, <br />plus the cost of mailing said notice, is not paid within the time <br />specified in the notice, the City Collector shall immediately <br />order further service discontinued to that person, firm or <br />corporation of water or electricity or both, as the case may be, <br />unless due to emergencies or exceptional reasons, a longer period <br />is granted by the Collector, before same is discontinued, and <br />after same has been discontinued to services shall remain <br />discontinued until such time when said delinquencies shall be paid <br />in full, plus a reasonable charge for the cost to the City due to <br />the expense to the City for the said discontinuance and resumption <br />of such service. <br />PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of June, 1946. <br />PAUL J.
