RESOLUTION NO. 3612 2 Resolution; and A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY (c) That detailed itemization of certain expenses 15 OF COLTON FORMALIZING THE 'PROCEDURE FOR RE - 3 ly difficult, if not impossible, by reason of the IMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES TO COUNCIL MEMBERS 4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF COLTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 5,/ SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Colton does hereby find, f determine and declare as follows: 7 (a) That for many years past this City has had an 8 maintains a telephone in his home which is utilized informal policy with -respect to the reimbursement 9 25 of Council Members for expenses incurred by them 10 receivingcalls pertaining to official functions in the performance of official duties; and s 11 (b) That it is desirable, 'and in the public interest, 12 to complaints and inquiries concerning matters to formalize that said policy by means of this 13 related to legislative' business; each member of the Resolution; and 14 (c) That detailed itemization of certain expenses 15 incurred by members of the City Council is extreme - 16 ly difficult, if not impossible, by reason of the 17 nature of certain such expenses, for example, each 18 member of the City Council maintains in his home 19 an area utilized by him for office facilities, 20 including, but not limited to, the storage of City 21 records accumulated by him in his capacity as a 22 member of the legislative body; each such member 23 maintains a telephone in his home which is utilized 24 in part, by the Council member in making and 25 receivingcalls pertaining to official functions 26 as well as receiving calls from constituents relating 27 to complaints and inquiries concerning matters 28 related to legislative' business; each member of the 29 Council utilizes, from time to time, a personal 30 automobile for official business, in attending' 31 various meetings and reviewing areas of the City 32 where his official duty so requires, and other
