.7 <br />2 RESOLUTION NO. 3626 <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />`' OF COLTON REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS <br />4 OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO TO CONSOLIDATE <br />A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF THE CITY OF <br />5 COLTON TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, 1976, WITH <br />THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON <br />6 NOVEMBER 2, 1976, PURSUANT TO SECTION 23302 <br />OF THE ELECTIONS CODE. <br />7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Calton called a special <br />8 municipal election in the City of Colton to be held on November 2 <br />g 1976, for <br />the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of the City of Colton a <br />10 <br />proposition concerning amending the City of Colton's Employees Retirement <br />11 Plan as hereinafter set forth; and <br />12 <br />It is desirable that said special municipal election be consoli- <br />dated dated with the statewide general election to be <br />14 held on the same date and <br />that within the City of Colton the precincts, pollin <br />15 g places and election <br />Officers of he two elections be the same <br />l 6 , and that the Board of Supervisors <br />17 <br />of the County of San Bernardino canvass the returns of the special municipal <br />election and that said statewide general electionP <br />18 and special municipal elec- <br />tion be hald in all respects as if there were only one election; <br />19 <br />20 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does here- <br />by resolve, determine, and order as follows: <br />21 <br />22 <br />SECTION I.
