.7 2 RESOLUTION NO. 3626 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY `' OF COLTON REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 4 OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO TO CONSOLIDATE A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF THE CITY OF 5 COLTON TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, 1976, WITH THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON 6 NOVEMBER 2, 1976, PURSUANT TO SECTION 23302 OF THE ELECTIONS CODE. 7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Calton called a special 8 municipal election in the City of Colton to be held on November 2 g 1976, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of the City of Colton a 10 proposition concerning amending the City of Colton's Employees Retirement 11 Plan as hereinafter set forth; and 12 It is desirable that said special municipal election be consoli- dated dated with the statewide general election to be 14 held on the same date and that within the City of Colton the precincts, pollin 15 g places and election Officers of he two elections be the same l 6 , and that the Board of Supervisors 17 of the County of San Bernardino canvass the returns of the special municipal election and that said statewide general electionP 18 and special municipal elec- tion be hald in all respects as if there were only one election; 19 20 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does here- by resolve, determine, and order as follows: 21 22 SECTION I.
