STEPHEN AVENUE, 2 SOUTH TENTH STREET, TERRACE AVENUE, SOUTH THIRD STREET, VALENCIA, VALLEY 3 BOULEVARD, VERMONT STREET, VIRGINIA DRIVE, WALTERS STREET, WALIN STREET, 4 WASHINGTON STREET, WESTERN AVENUE, WESTWOOD, WHEELER LANE. 5 The Parcels are described by Lot and Block Numbers in that 6 certain Weed and Rubbish Abate I ment Property List for 1977 on file in the Office Of the Director of community Services of the City of Colton which is incorpor- ated herein by reference. 9 3- That the City Council does hereby find, determine and declare 10 that said weeds situated along and up . on said property and streets and also 11 said r . ubbish5 refuse, dirt, dry grass:, stubble, brush, litter or other in- 12 flammable material that exists upon parkways', sidewalks, or private property 13 within the City of Colton are and the'same are hereby declared to be a publi' 'c 114 1 nuisance and that the same shall be abated by the removal of said weeds, 15 rubbish, refuse, dirt or other materials by the owners of said property or 16 other persons on their behalf, or that otherwise said weeds, rubbish, dirt 17 or other material shall be removed and said nuisance abated by the City of 18 Colton in which case the cost of said removal shall be assessed upon the -19'Vland lots on which, or in front of which such weeds, rubbish, refuse and 20 'dirt are removed and such cost shall constitute a1ien upon such lots and 21 lands until paid under proceedings to be taken in accordance with the 22 JMunicipal Weed Abatement Act of the State of California. 23 4. That a hearing shall be held before the City Council in the 24 Council Chambers in the City Hall in Colton, California, on the 19th day of 25 April, 1977, 1 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. O'clock of said day, at which time all 26 property owners having objections to the proposed removal of said weeds, rubbish, 27 refuse, dirt and other material in accordance with the proceedings set forth in 28 the aforementioned Act may be heard arrd:theJr objections andprotests considered by said City Council.
