6. Rialto shall conduct all fire investigations and have <br />responsibility for fire prevention in the Rialto portion of the joint <br />response zone, and Colton shall conduct all fire investigations and have <br />responsibility for fire prevention in the Colton portion of the zone. <br />7. No party to this Agreement shall be required to pay any <br />wnpensation to the other party to this Agreement for ordinary services <br />rendered hereunder; the mutual advantage and protection afforded by <br />this Agreement being considered adequate compensation to all parties. <br />8. Rialto agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Calton and its <br />agents and employees frcxt and against all claims, damages, losses and <br />expenses arising out of performance by Rialto of the work herein detailed <br />where such damages, losses and expenses are caused in whole or in part by <br />Rialto's negligent act or cinission, or that of its agents and employees <br />or that of anyone employed by them or for whose acts Rialto may be liable. <br />9. Colton agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rialto and its <br />agents and employees frim and against all claims, damages, losses, and <br />expenses arising out of performance by Colton of the work herein detailed <br />where such damages, losses, and expenses are caused, in whole or in part <br />by Colton's negligent act or cntissions, or that of its agents and employees <br />or that of anyone employed by them or -for whose acts the Authority may be <br />liable. <br />10. This Agrem ent shall become effective frau- the date this <br />Agreement is fully executed and shall continue in full force and effect <br />
