RESOLUTION NO. 3809 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL RE -- QUESTING REPORTFROM PLANNING COM- MISSION AS TO CONFORMITY WITH GENERAL PLAN.- CITY OF COLTON WHEREAS, this City Council has instituted proceedings for the construction of certain public improvements, together with appur- tenances and appurtenant work in connection therewith, including acquisition, if necessary, in a special assessment district pur- suant to the terms and provisions of the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; said special assessment district is known and designated as ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 78-1 [MT.-VERNON AVENUE AND COOLEY.DRIVE, PHASE II} (hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District") and - WHEREAS? at this time, this City Council is desirous of obtaining a Report from the Planning Commission of this City as required by Section 65402 of the Government Code of the State of California. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. SECTION 2 That attached hereto find an exhibit setting forth a description of the works of improvement as proposed. for the above referenced Assessment District. SECTION 3. That the extent of the improvements and acquisition for the Assessment District are hereby directed to be submitted to the. Planning Commission for a deter- mination as to conformity with the adopted General Plan of said City; and it is further requested that the Planning Commission report back to this City Council at its earliest convenience. This request is pursuant to Section 65402 of the Government Code' of the State of California. APPROVED and ADOPTED this day of MAYOR. .
