CITY OF COLTON <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO 78-1 <br />[MT. VERNON AVENUE AND COOLEY DRIVE, PHASE II] <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />WORKS OF IMPROVEMENT <br />I. The construction of certain grading, paving, curbs and <br />gutters, drainage improvements, sidewalks, ornamental <br />vegetation, bicycle trails, street lights, underground <br />telephone and underground City power, together with <br />appurtenances and appurtenant work in connection there- <br />with, in <br />COOLEY DRIVE <br />between a point approximately 1,000 feet Easterly of <br />Mt. Vernon Avenue, thence extending Easterly and <br />Northerly approximately 2,500 feet, including in <br />COOLEY DRIVE the installation of certain sanitary <br />sewer lines and laterals, and a domestic water systema <br />including water well restoration; and in <br />MT. VERNON AVENUE <br />between Washington Street and the Santa. Ana River, <br />including traffic signal installation and a box <br />culvert located at the intersection with the Reche <br />Canyon Channel. <br />II. The reconstruction of the existing <br />RECHE CANYON CHANNEL <br />between the Santa. Ana River and I-15 E (Interstate <br />Highway) including all appurtenances and appurtenant <br />work in connection therewith. <br />LII. The conversion of existing overhead telephone facili- <br />ties to underground locations in <br />I -IT. VERNON AVENUE <br />as shown on the map attached hereto, as authorized <br />by Chapter 28, Part III, Division 7 of the Streets <br />and Highways Code of the State of California. <br />
