MU <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />131' <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />Stand-by (On Call) is defined as that period of time other than <br />regularly scheduled work time during which an employee is subject <br />to call -out to provide services which are the responsibility of the <br />department in which he is employed. <br />(a) Regular Stand-by (On Call) - A seven day calendar period <br />starting at 5:00 p.m. Friday and ending the following Friday <br />at 8:00 a.m., or the same relative period adjusted to the <br />noraml work days of the employee. For each regular stand-by <br />(on call) period, the employee shall receive sixteen (16) <br />hours straight time pay. <br />(b) Holiday Stand-by (On Call) - An eight hour period of a normal <br />work day that is observed by the City as a City Holiday. <br />Police Department stand-by (on call) employees shall receive <br />no additional benefit for holiday stand-by (on call). Other <br />stand-by (on call) employees shall accrue 8 hours of compen- <br />satory time to be taken on request of employee, if approved <br />by the Department Head. <br />9. EDUCATIONAL INCENTIVE <br />The City agrees to establish a fund in the amount of $1,000.00 for <br />January 1, 1983, to June 31, 1983, and an additional $1,000.00 from <br />July 1, 1983 to December 31, 1983, to reimburse employees for tuition <br />costs incurred for Job related education.
