FLOATING HOLIDAY <br />Effective January 1, 1983, the City shall provide to each effected <br />employee one additional floating holiday which shall be taken <br />during the year (January 1, 1983 - December 31, 1983) in a manner <br />as described in Rules and Regulations. <br />7. SICK LEAVE DISBURSEMENT <br />In addition to pre-existing policies governing the disbursement of <br />accrued sick leave upon separation from City service, effective <br />January 1, 1983, the City shall provide to each represented employee <br />who is granted a service retirement (rather than a disability <br />retirement) after thirty (30) cumulative years of service with the <br />City, a sum equal to the cash value of seventy-five percent (75%) <br />of said employee's accumulated sick leave. The cash value shall <br />be computed at the employee's hourly rate in existence at the time <br />the monies are disbursed. <br />8. STAND-BY STREET DEPARTMENT <br />In addition to the pre-existing policies governing stand-by, said <br />policy shall now include the Street Department. The language of the <br />policy shall be the same as Administrative Policy IV -C-19, as follows: <br />-3- <br />
