Lofy, Recreation Director <br />SUBJECT: Senate Bill No. 1785, Collection of Park Date: 3/30/83 <br />Fees <br />BACKGROUND <br />The State of California Legislature in late 1982 enacted <br />Senate Bill No. 1785 effective January 1, 1983 mandating <br />certain guidelines and required actions by cities re- <br />lating to use of funds accumulated through individual <br />City Construction Tax Ordinance Fees. The City Council <br />at the meeting of March 1, 1983, directed the Parks <br />and Recreation Commission to prepare a list of projects <br />and accompanying cost estimates that would bring the <br />City of Colton into conformity with the aforementioned <br />Senate Bill No. 1785.
