i <br />2 <br />31 <br />4 <br />5 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4329 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA INITIATING PROCEEDINGS <br />FOR THE FORMATION OF A LANDSCAPING AND <br />LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT PURSUANT TO <br />THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 19723 <br />APPOINTING THE ENGINEER, AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF AN ENGINEER'S REPORT <br />City of Colton <br />Landscaping & Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, <br />California, ("this City Council") has received a Petition for <br />Formation of a Landscaping & Public Lighting Facilities District <br />pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act <br />of 1972 (California Streets & Highways Code Section 22500 et <br />sem) and this City Council has agreed to initiate proceedings <br />to form such district under the conditions of that agreement <br />entitled "Agreement Between City of Colton and Fredericks Devel- <br />opment Corporation Relative to Formation of Landscaping and <br />Public Lighting Facilities District; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Colton has <br />certified that the Petition presented to this City Council <br />contains the signatures of owners owning more than sixty percent <br />(60a/) of the property of the assessable area of the property <br />subject to assessment for the proposed works of improvement and <br />complies with the requirements of Section 2804 of the Streets & <br />Highways Code of the State of California; and <br />WHEREAS, this City Council wishes to initiate proceed- <br />ings pursuant to Chapter 3 of the Landscaping and Lighting Act <br />of 1972 (Streets and Highways Code Section 22500 et seq.) for <br />
