1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4356 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA DECLARING INTENTION <br />TO FORM A LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING MAINTE- <br />NANCE DISTRICT PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING <br />AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972, AND TO LEVY AND <br />COLLECT SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS THEREUNDER FOR <br />FISCAL YEAR 1984-1985 <br />City of Colton <br />Landscaping & Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, <br />California ("this City Council") has received a Petition for <br />Formation of a Landscaping & Public Lighting Facilities District <br />pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act <br />of 1972 (California Streets & Highways Code Section 22500 et <br />seq.) and this City Council has agreed to initiate proceedings <br />to form such district under the conditions of that agreement <br />entitled "Agreement Between City of Colton and Fredericks Devel- <br />opment Corporation Relative to Formation of Landscaping and <br />Public Lighting Facilities District; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Colton has <br />certified that the Petition presented to this City Council <br />contains the signatures of owners owning more than sixty percent <br />(60Q/) of the property of the assessable area of the property <br />subject to assessment for the proposed works of improvement and <br />complies with the requirements of Section 2804 of the Streets & <br />Highways Code of the State of California; and <br />WHEREAS, this City Council wishes to order the forma- <br />tion of an assessment district pursuant to Chapter 3 of the <br />Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (Streets and Highways Code <br />
