That this City Council hereby declares its <br />intention to levy and collect special assessments within the <br />boundaries of City of Colton Landscaping & Lighting Maintenance <br />District No. 1 ("District") for fiscal year 1984-1985 pursuant <br />to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 to pay the costs of <br />ordinary and usual maintenance, operating and servicing certain <br />public parkways, parks and public lighting facilities of land- <br />scaping within such District, the general location of which is <br />shown on the map attached and incorporated herein as Exhibit <br />"A. <br />11 <br />Section 2. That the existing improvements consist <br />generally of unimproved parkways and parks and this City Council <br />does contemplate proposed new landscaping improvements and <br />-2- <br />
