ill 2 3 4 5 6 7 .. 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 4385 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "COLTON AN- NEXATION SOUTH 42" TO THE CITY OF COLTON AND DETACHING SAID ANNEXED AREA FROM COUNTY SERVICE AREA 38, IMPROVEMENT ZONE G OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA 33, COUNTY SERVICE AREA 70, AND IMPROVE- MENT ZONE A OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA 70. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: WHEREAS, preliminary proceedings for annexation of certain des- cribed territory to the City of Colton were initiated ,►hen the property owner filed a resolution of application with the Local Agency Formation Commission in the County of San Bernardino in accordance with the District Reorganization IAct (Government Code Section 56000 et. seq.); and WHEREAS, thereafter appropriate proceedings were conducted by the Local Agency Formation Commission and on August 10, 1983, the Commission adopted a resolution, being Resolution No. 1880, approving the proposed annexa- tion, subject to the following conditions: 1. The conducting authority for this reorganization shall be the ICity of Colton. 2. The boundaries are approved as shown in the Exhibit "A" at- ltached. 3. The following distinctive short form designation shall be used throughout this proceeding: LAFC 2232. 4. Included in the City's resolution depicting final action shall be the detachment of County Service Area 38 (fire protection), Improvement Zone G of County Service Area 38, County Service Area 70 (county -wide), and Im- .provement Zone A of County Service Area 70 (weed abatement) without split of assets or liabilities. 5. Approval is granted to proceed without notice, hearing, or election with 100% consent of the property owners.
