SALARY INCREASE <br />Effective January 1, 1984, each represented employee of the <br />unit shall receive a three (3) percent base salary increase. <br />Such increase will apply to each step within a pay range. <br />2. LIFE INSURANCE <br />Effective January 1, 1984, the City will increase by <br />ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) the existing amount of <br />life insurance for each represented employee. <br />3. OPTICAL INSURANCE <br />Effective January 1, 1984, the City will provide an optical <br />program for each represented employee and eligible dependents <br />as follows• <br />A. An annual vision examination by a licensed ophthalmolo- <br />gist of the City's choice at no expense. <br />B. Up to fifty dollars ($50.00) towards corrective lenses <br />and frames as required. <br />4. HEALTH INSURANCE <br />Effective January 1, 1984, through December 31, 1984, the <br />City will continue to provide health insurance in accordance <br />with the existing 1983 M.O.U. and will pay any premium <br />increases through the life of this agreement. <br />5. GRIEVANCE.PROCEDURE <br />It is the intent- of the City that all represented employees of the <br />Management and Confidential Unit of the S.B.P.E.A. shall be included in. <br />the grievance procedure provided for in the City's Personnel_ Rules & <br />Regulations. <br />
