1 RESOLUTION NO 4461 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 3 CITY COLTON, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING INTEN- TION TO ORDER ANNEXATION NO. 1 TO CITY OF COLTON LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING MAINTE- 4 NANCE DISTRICT NO. 1 DECLARING THE WORK TO BE MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY 'PUBLIC 5 BENEFIT; SPECIFYING THE EXTERIOR BOUND- ARIES OF THE AREA TO BE ANNEXED, AND TO 6 BE ASSESSED `THE COST AND EXPENSE'THEREOF; DESIGNATING SAID AREA AS A PORTION OF 7- CITY OF COLTON LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1; DETERMINING 8 THAT THESE PROCEEDINGS- SHALL BE TAKEN PURSUANT TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING 9 ACT OF 1972; AND OFFERING A TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS THERETO 10 11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, 12 California ("this City Council"), has received a written a o, IL N� 13 request for annexation' of Tracts 11370, 11371, 11372, 11373 0 0: 2 Wxmo 14 and 1119CI to City of Colton Landscaping and Lighting Mainten 0di WWLL ow 2 15 ance District No. 1 pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting 3mLL 00o w0oIL 9 16 Act of 1972 (California Streets & Highways Code Section 22500- 17 et seg ) and this City Council has agreed to initiate proceed - 18 ings to complete such annexation; and 19 WHEREAS, the City Clerk has certified that the 20 written request presented to this City Council contains the 21 signatures of owners owning more than sixty percent (60%) of 22 the property of the assessable area of the property subject 23 to be annexed and assessed for the proposed works of improve - 24 ment and complies with the requirements of `Section 2804. of 25 the Streets & Highways Code of the State of California; and 26 WHEREAS, this City Council wishes to order "Annexa- 27 tion No. 1 to City of Colton Landscaping and Lighting Mainten- 28an.ce District No. 1 pursuant to Article 2 of the Landscaping
