The Clerk shall give' notice of the <br />hearing as follows: <br />(a) The Clerk shall cause this resolution of <br />intention to be published once a week for two (2) successive <br />weeks as required by §22626 and §22552 of the California <br />Streets & Highways Code. The Colton Courier is hereby desig- <br />nated as the newspaper in which the Clerk shall. publish this <br />resolution of intention. Upon completion of giving notice, <br />the Clerk is further directed to file in her office a proof <br />of publication setting forth compliance with the requirements <br />for publishing. <br />(b) At least twenty (20) days before the date <br />set for hearing of protests, the Clerk shall mail, postage <br />prepaid, a copy of this resolution of intention to all persons <br />owning real property proposed to be assessed whose names and <br />addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for <br />taxes of the County of Riverside or who are known to the City <br />Clerk.
