TEMPORARY ENCROACHMENT PERMIT #04-001-1)D continued <br />6. A copy of any & all permits secured from abutting cities, counties or other agencies whose <br />approval is required to proceed with this project shall be submitted to the City of Colton <br />upon receipt so as to compare requirements and eliminate confusion on the part of the <br />Contractor or any permitting agency (such as City of San Bernardino, CAL -OSHA, County <br />of San Bernardino, San Bernardino Flood Control District, etc.). Additional copies of this <br />7. Permit may also be distributed to other affected agencies upon request. <br />ROAD CLOSURE: <br />1. A separate Encroachment Permit will be required for any road closure of more than <br />twenty-four (24) hours duration. <br />2. This type of request must be approved by the City Council. <br />3. Council Meetings are regularly scheduled for the 1St and 3rd Tuesday of each month. <br />Preparation time for a Staff Report to support this request is 1-2 weeks, and said staff <br />report for any particular City Council Meeting must be submitted to the City Clerk the day <br />after the previous City Council Meeting. A minimum of 3-4 weeks lead time is necessary <br />for approval of any Road Closure. <br />4. Application for a Road Closure shall be submitted on an Encroachment Permit Application <br />form. p <br />5. A "wet signed" Engineered Traffic Control Plan (in triplicate) shall be submitted for all <br />Road Closures. Said plan shall be submitted to the City of Colton's Public Services <br />Department, Engineering Division for Plan Check a minimum of one (1) week prior to the <br />start of Construction. <br />AS A CONDITION of this Temporary Encroachment Permit, the following conditions shall be <br />met: <br />1. Public Property which is damaged in any way as a result of the proposed project shall be <br />replaced or repaired per City of Colton Standards, the expense of said replacement or repair <br />shall be borne by the Contractor. <br />2. Contractor shall maintain the minimum clearance of forty-eight inches (48"') per ADA <br />requirements for pedestrian traffic along the construction area at all times. <br />3. Per this Department's request, a Certificate of Insurance with comprehensive liability limits <br />of $1,000,000 minimum must be submitted to the City of Colton prior to the start of <br />Construction, and an Endorsement listing the City of Colton as "Additional Insured" shall <br />be attached to said Certificate.. <br />
