TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE — FAIRWAY DRIVE (Continued) <br />2. Contractor shall maintain the minimum clearance of forty-eight inches (48") per ADA requirements <br />for pedestrian traffic along the construction area at all times. <br />3. Per this Department's request, a Certificate of Insurance with comprehensive liability limits of <br />$1,000,000 minimum must be submitted to the City of Colton prior to the start of construction, and <br />an Endorsement listing the City of Colton as "Additional Insured" shall be attached to said <br />Certificate. <br />HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT: inconsideration of the granting of this application for a Temporary <br />Encroachment Permit, the applicant hereby agrees to: <br />1. Indemnify, defend and save the City, its authorized agents, officers, representatives and employees, <br />harmless from and against any and all penalties, liabilities or loss resulting from claims of court <br />action and arising out of any accident, loss or damage to persons or property happenings or <br />occurring as a proximate result of any work undertaken under the permit granted pursuant to this <br />application. <br />2. The property owner will remove/relocate encroachment installed or maintained under this permit, <br />within thirty (30) days of written notice from the City, if determined by the City Engineer that the <br />effected right-of-way is needed for public improvements. <br />3. Notify the City Engineer, in writing, at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the time when <br />work will be started and upon completion of the work, immediately notify the City Engineer in <br />writing of such completion. <br />4. Comply with the terms and conditions of the permit and all applicable rules and regulations of the <br />City of Colton and other public agencies having jurisdiction. <br />The Applicant agrees to all of the above conditions, as evidenced by his signature below: <br />Signature of Applicant Date Signed <br />Said Temporary Encroachment Permit is hereby issued by the City Engineer with the approval of <br />the City Council, and shall be valid from this date forward for a period of eight (8) months.
