TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE — FAIRWAY DRIVE (Continued) <br />A breakdown of the proposed detours to be placed in effect on an as -needed basis for the construction of <br />Caltrans Contract No. 08-371304 are explained as follows: <br />1. For eastbound traffic on Fairway Drive — turn left on Auto Plaza Drive, then turn right on "E <br />Street <br />2. For westbound traffic leaving the businesses between Auto Plaza Drive and Camino Real — turn <br />right on Auto Plaza Drive, then turn right on "E" Street <br />3. For northbound traffic on "E" Street — turn left on Auto Plaza Drive <br />4. For southbound traffic on "E" Street — turn right on Auto Plaza Drive <br />THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES have been presented to the City of Colton during the <br />Encroachment Permit Application process: <br />1. Request is for eight (8) months, beginning Wednesday, February 18, 2004, (contingent upon <br />Council approval) and extending to October 18, 2005. An extension of time may be requested, in <br />writing, from the Engineering Department a minimum of one (1) week prior to the expiration of <br />this Permit. <br />2. There are six (6) signs installed within the area noted above. As not all signs will be in effect <br />throughout the entire construction process, those signs not needed for public notification or public <br />safety will be covered when not in use. <br />3. Installation & maintenance of said Construction Area Signs (including replacement of any <br />damaged materials) shall be the sole & complete responsibility of the contractor to whom the <br />construction contract for the Caltrans Project has been awarded. <br />4. Construction Area Signs shall be removed from the installation sites and the area of each removal <br />site shall be returned to its previous condition at the conclusion of the above -noted Caltrans project. <br />5. A copy of any & all permits secured from abutting cities, counties or other agencies whose approval <br />is required to proceed with this project shall be submitted to the City of Colton upon receipt so as to <br />compare requirements and eliminate confusion on the part of the contractor or any permitting <br />agency (such as City of San Bernardino, CAL -OSHA, County of San Bernardino, San Bernardino <br />Flood Control District, etc.). <br />6. Additional copies of this Permit may also be distributed to other affected agencies upon request. <br />7. All detours shall be as shown on the "wet -signed" Engineered Traffic Control Plan submitted to the <br />City and approved by the City Engineer. <br />AS A CONDITION of this Temporary Encroachment Permit, the following conditions shall be met: <br />1. Public Property which is damaged in any way as a result of the proposed project shall be replaced or <br />repaired per City of Colton Standards; the expense of said replacement or repair shall be borne by the <br />Contractor. <br />
