II <br />21 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />151 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />WHEREAS, based on the evidence above, as well as testimony by members of <br />the public and Council Members, the City Council finds that the giving of aid to the City <br />of Bay St. Louis is in the public interest and will greatly benefit the City of Colton; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Colton, California, as follows: <br />SECTION 1: That the City Council directs City staff to expend $5,775, which <br />is currently allocated to account number 100-6000-6000-2280-0003-000, as aid and <br />assistance to the City of Bay St. Louis, which has been impacted by the recent <br />hurricanes in the Gulf Coast region. <br />SECTION 2. That the City Council intends its assistance only as a <br />supplement, rather than a replacement, for any federal assistance that would otherwise <br />be available to the City of Bay St. Louis. <br />SECTION 3: That the City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute any <br />documents and take any action necessary to carry out the purposes of this Resolution. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15`h day of November 2005. <br />'D' <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
